Hat woven in plant fibre, in basketwork technique, it has a disk-like form and finishes in a bundle of plaited threads decorated with feathers; the base has the form of a belt which is fitted to the head and from the ends of this come two fibres in the form of cords that are used to attach it; it is worn by herders and those travelling in caravans from the quebrada of Tarapaca, in the period after the fall of Wari and Tiwanaku.

Gorro tejido con fibra vegetal, con técnica de cestería, tiene forma discoidal y termina en un mechón de fibras trenzadas adornadas con plumas; la base tiene la forma de una cinta que se ajusta a la cabeza y de los extremos de ésta se derivan dos fibras a manera de cuerdas que sirven para sujetarla; lo usaban los pastores-caravaneros de la quebrada de Tarapaca, en el período después de la caída de Wari y Tiwanaku.
