Type of loom characterised by its simplicity and the use of a single cross pole, that the girls in the Andean region use to learn how to make shawls or braids (in Aymara tirinsa) warp face. The stability of this type of loom is achieved by gripping the pole in the toes.

Tipo de telar caracterizada por su simplicidad y uso de un solo palo travesaño, que las niñas de la región andina usan para aprender a elaborar huatos o trencillas (en aymara tirinsa) en faz de urdimbre. La estabilidad de este tipo de telar se logra al agarrar este palo en los dedos del pie. Se llama este tipo rudimentario de telar, tirins lawa: “palos de trencilla”.
