Generic denomination to refer to those technological aspects of textile production. It refers, on the one hand, to developments in the loom and its equipment and tools used to elaborate textiles, and on the other, to the set of social relations generated around the interactions with the material world and products.

Denominación genérica para referirse a todos aquellos aspectos tecnológicos de la producción textil. Se alude, por una parte, a los desarrollos del telar y sus útiles e instrumentos, que se usan para elaborar un tejido. Por otro lado, se refiere al conjunto de relaciones sociales generadas en torno a las interacciones con el mundo material y productos.
