técnica para malla

Technique produced with a single thread of determinate length, which is worked in the form of a mesh in defined and repeated intervals. The mesh structure is based on a horizontal element whose continuous knitting together forms rows which create the surface of the cloth. Mesh techniques are grouped into three blocks: linking, looping and knotting.

Técnica que se produce con un solo hilo de una longitud determinada, que se trabaja en forma de malla en intervalos definidos y repetidos. La estructura de la malla se base a un elemento horizontal cuyo enlace continuo conforma filas que generan la superficie textil. Las técnicas de malla se agrupan en tres bloques: mallas de tipo eslabonado (linking en inglés), mallas de tipo anillado (looping en inglés) y mallas de tipo anudado (knotting en inglés).
